TIGER and ME

Have you ever tried holding a tiger in your arms and have

them sit in your lap?? Not Tigger of Pooh and Friends but a real tiger. Wooo scary, isn't it?? But if you're in for a little adventure and you know that the tiger was trained and tamed, why not try it, right? I did, I was a bit scared and nervous at first but after I held the little cub in my arms... well, it felt great! It was like holding my dog Pipoy, again! Though the cub was bigger, it still reminds me of my Pipoy, so cuddly as the little cub. It's been years now when he had a heart attack and passed away and I miss him so much.

Anyway, it was quite an adventure holding and petting a tiger. It was my first time and I enjoyed it very much. I will definitely try it again when I visit this zoo in Tagaytay.

MINES VIEW

One of the most visited places in Baguio City . You will see here the spectacular view of the mountains and valleys of the Cordillera region and view of the copper and gold mines of Benguet province. There are also lots of souvenirs and food stalls in this place so you don't need to worry about getting hungry when you visit the place.

BUS RIDE TO EL NIDO

BUS RIDE FROM PUERTO PRINCESA TO EL NIDO

It'll take you almost 9 hours ride from Puerto Princesa to El Nido town proper. The bus ride is very exhausting if this will be the first time you'll travel on a commuter bus. Rough roads and zigzag roads are very common when going to EL Nido. This commuter bus also serves as the "main courier" of the locals. Drivers and bus conductors are very reliable and trustworthy for you can have them deliver your packages right infront of your doorstep.

If you are adventurouos and wants to experience how the locals travel from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, then there's always a commuter bus on the terminal that leaves the city at 4am. And you have to be in the bus terminal by 4 am otherwise you'll have to wait the next day to go to El NIdo. They only have 2 trips a day, One going to El NIdo and back to Pureto Princesa. But if you want the most convenient way to reach El NIdo, there's always a charter plane that you can rent. It'll only take you 15-20min to reach El NIdo but it is way expensive than taking a bus ride with the locals.

We experienced the beauty of this white sand as early as 6am. You’ll also have a view of Mt. Hibok Hibok and Mt. Vulcan when you’re on this island.

JEEPNEY'S and MOTORELAS in CDO

This is what a typical jeepney looks like when you’re in CDO.

These jeepneys are use as one of the forms transportation when the locals travel from town to town if you do not have your own vehicle.

Motorela’s are motorcycle that looks like a mini jeepney. It can accommodate six passengers at a minimum fare of 5pesos per passenger. I think Motorela’s can only be use within the city proper because they have restrictions. You can request manong driver to drop you off wherever you want as long as it is still within the city proper.

WHITE WATER RAFTING IN CDO

The CDO adventure will never be complete if you will not try to go on rafting in CDO... a total of 3 hour run, 14 rapids from class II- class III.. Water cascading over rocks and boulders, a breathtaking view of the river's rocky walls and mountainsides. You'll also learn how to paddle if this is the first time you'll try water rafting. They provided a 10min orientation on how to use your paddle and emergency tips and precautions on rafting.
